Position Details
- Hours: 8:30 AM - 2:30 PM, 2 days a week
- Location: Trussville, AL
- Experience: No experience necessary—just a positive attitude and willingness to learn!
At The Picture House, we specialize in creating transformative experiences for women, capturing their unique beauty through fine art portraiture. We’re looking for enthusiastic, creative individuals who are eager to learn, grow, and contribute to our mission of empowerment and elegance.
Expectations of a Studio Assistant:
What You'll Do
Client Experience Support
- Welcome clients warmly and help them feel comfortable and valued.
- Assist with wardrobe preparation, steaming outfits, and offering styling support.
- Provide basic support during hair and makeup prep.
- Ensure clients are comfortable and cared for throughout their experience.
Photoshoot Support
- Assist with setting up and adjusting lighting and backdrops.
- Manage wardrobe changes and keep outfits and props organized.
- Offer posing assistance by adjusting hair, clothing, and accessories.
- Capture behind-the-scenes content for social media (with client consent).
- Take notes on client preferences and shot lists.
Post-Shoot Support
- Reset and tidy the studio after sessions.
- Assist in preparing client orders for delivery or pickup.
- Help manage social media content, including posting BTS moments.
- Track inventory for wardrobe, props, and studio supplies.
Administrative Support (As Needed)
- Confirm appointments and send reminders.
- Assist with data entry and organizing client information.
- Prepare materials for client reveals and product deliveries.
