What inspired you to become a portrait photographer, and how did you get started in the business?
Ever since I was gifted a 35mm Analog Pentax at my high school graduation, I knew that photography was going to be a big part of my life. After studying photography in college, I fell in love with capturing images that would last a lifetime. But it wasn't until I became a mother that my passion for photography truly blossomed. I wanted to capture every moment of my children's lives and create timeless portraits that we could cherish forever.
Growing up, I was always drawn to the portraits of my grandparents that adorned the hallway in my parents' home. Every time I passed by, I felt a sense of pride and connection to my family history. I understood the value of preserving memories through portraiture, and I wanted to offer that same sense of connection and legacy to others.
As I grew older, I realized that those portraits in my parents' hallway were more than just photos. They were a reflection of our family's story and a testament to the love that had been passed down through generations. It was then that I knew I wanted to capture that same love and connection through my own lens.
